Sizes, Grades and Specifications of Copper Round bar
Meant to be used as a guideline for copper based components the ASTM B62, cover castings of valves, fittings and flanges. While the majority of the content used in the alloy must consist of copper for e.g. – ASTM B62 Copper Threaded Bar, the residual elements to be used in the components could be any one of the following – aluminium, antimony, iron, sulfur, phosphorus, and silicon. For instance the Alloy UNS C12200 Bright Bar, phosphorus deoxidized high residual phosphorus copper based alloy.
