Judge the quality of copper pipe

However, these are professional methods and belong to high-level methods. They can be determined only after detailed testing in the testing organization. They are not suitable for simple and rapid judgment methods.
So how to simply judge the quality of copper pipe?
1 observe the appearance
Generally, it is necessary to observe the appearance of copper tubes to judge during procurement. The first thing is to look at the color of copper tubes. Different color judgments are made according to the types of copper tubes purchased, such as purple copper tubes. Generally, red copper with red color is good copper. There are brass tubes. Generally, the light color is better. Some copper is plated with zinc, some are tinned, and the color is white. There is also a kind of inferior copper. There are impurities in the copper pipe, which can be broken in two by bending with your hand. Don’t buy those with black impurities.
2 hand touch
Touch the inner and outer walls of the copper pipe to see if they are smooth and clean, and see if there are sand holes, oxidation, cracks and other defects. If you are not assured, you can scrape them with sharp objects. Generally, good copper pipes are processed with pure copper, which will have better extensibility. Therefore, a deep line will appear in high-quality copper pipe. If the inner part of the copper tube is the same as that of the outer wall, it indicates that the overall quality of the copper tube is relatively high. However, if the color or other aspects are different, it is likely to add substances similar to iron. However, more good copper tubes are used in military industry and its special industries.
3 bending
Generally processed copper pipes are mainly divided into hard state, semi-hard state and soft state. The flexibility of different forms is also different. Generally, it can be determined by bending copper pipes. High quality copper pipes are very easy to bend, but if it is difficult to bend or cracks will appear after bending, it indicates that the quality of copper pipe parts is not very good.
