DOWEDO Brass Supplies’s Steel operates two hot rolled steel mills:
Port Kembla produces widths from 600-1500 mm wide and 1.6-12 mm thick
Western Port produces strip from 600-1800 mm wide and 1.6-12 mm thick
Hot rolled coil is traditionally split in to two categories, narrow strip and wide strip.
DOWEDO Brass high-quality strip steels are used in a multitude of applications, from seat belt mechanisms to ice axes, industrial needles to plough and saw backing blades. It is used for cold rolling, presswork, roll forming and engineering industries.

Produced to Australian Standard AS/NZ 1594; Products are available in the mill edge or trimmed edge option. Products can also be supplied in the pickled and oiled condition.
