Processing Technology of Air Conditioning Copper Pipes
At present, casting-rolling process is the mainstream process for air conditioning copper pipes.
Detailed steps of this process are described as follows:
1. As-cast billet is obtained by horizontal continuous casting of electrolytic copper sheet.
2. Melting and casting: As-cast billet is obtained by three-roll planetary rotary rolling.
3. After repeated drawing, the pipe becomes thinner and thinner.
4. Drawing pipe becomes coil through winding machine.
5. The coil is annealed to meet the customer’s performance requirements.
6. The inner threaded copper tube with better heat transfer effect can be obtained by high-speed ball spinning.
7. After inspection, weighing and packaging, the inner threaded copper tubes will be sent to the main air-conditioning machine production link, and eventually into millions of households.
