Precautions for copper storage:
1. Copper materials shall be stored in a clean and dry warehouse according to composition and brand, and shall not be stored together with acid, alkali, salt and other materials.
2. If copper materials are affected with damp during transportation, they should be dried with cloth or piled up after drying in the sun.
3. The warehouse should be ventilated, and the humidity and temperature in the warehouse should be adjusted. Generally, the temperature in the warehouse should be kept at 15 ~ 30 ℃, and the relative humidity should be kept at about 40% ~ 80%.
4. Electrolytic copper can not be mixed with rubber and other acid phobic materials because of the residual electrolyte.
5. As the copper is soft, it should be avoided to pull, drag or drop, throw, knock and touch when handling and stacking, so as to avoid damaging or damaging the surface.
6. If rust is found, it can be wiped with linen or copper wire brush. Do not use steel wire brush to avoid scratching the surface. It is not suitable to apply oil.
7. For wire rod, no matter how serious the corrosion is, in principle, no derusting or oiling shall be carried out. If there is rust, it can be removed without affecting the wire diameter requirements and wrapped with moisture-proof paper.
8. If the corrosion is serious, in addition to rust removal, it should also be isolated and stored, and should not be stored for a long time. If corrosion cracks are found, they shall be removed from the warehouse immediately.
