Characteristics and application of brass tube
Brass tube has many advantages. It has the high strength of general metal, and is easier to bend, twist, crack and break than general metal. It also has a certain ability of anti freezing and anti impact. Therefore, once installed, the copper pipe in the water supply system in the building is safe and reliable, even without maintenance.
Brass tube also has the characteristics of hard texture, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and high pressure resistance, which can be used in a variety of environments. There are also some materials whose strength will decrease rapidly at high temperature, which will cause unsafe risks when used in hot water pipe. The melting point of copper is as high as 1083 ℃, so the temperature of hot water system is negligible for copper pipe. Now it is generally used as electrical copper tube, refrigeration copper tube, high-pressure copper tube, corrosion-resistant copper tube, connection copper tube, water channel copper tube, electric heating copper tube and industrial copper tube.
In addition, because of its strong and corrosion-resistant characteristics, brass pipe has become the first choice for modern contractors to install water pipes, heating and cooling pipes in all residential commercial houses. At the same time, it has the characteristics of light weight, good thermal conductivity and high low-temperature strength. It is often used in the manufacture of heat exchange equipment (such as condenser) and the assembly of low-temperature pipeline in oxygen production equipment. Copper tubes with small diameter are often used to transport liquid with pressure (such as lubrication system, oil pressure system, etc.) and pressure measuring tube for instruments.
