Application of copper pipe
Common copper pipes (industrial pure copper) and brass pipes (copper zinc alloy) are divided into control pipes, rolled pipes and extruded pipes according to different manufacturing methods. Generally, drawn pipes are used for medium and low pressure pipes.
Copper tubes and brass tubes are mostly used in heat exchange equipment; It is also commonly used in cryogenic devices and chemical pipelines, as well as pressure measuring pipelines of instruments or pipelines transmitting pressurized liquid. When the temperature is greater than 250 ℃, it should not be used under pressure.

Quality of copper pipe
The surface and inner wall of copper pipes and copper alloy pipes for installation shall be smooth and free from defect holes, cracks, scabs, tail cracks or pores. Brass pipes shall be free of green rust and serious dezincification.
The allowable degree of outer surface defects of copper and copper alloy ferrule is as follows: longitudinal scratch depth; The transverse concave depth or protruding height shall not be greater than 0.35mm; The depth of scars, bumps, bubbles and pits shall not exceed 0.03mm, and the area shall not exceed 30% of the surface area of the pipe. When used as a conduit, its area shall not exceed 0.5% of the pipe surface area.
Note: for copper and copper alloy pipes used as conduits, the longitudinal scratch depth shall not be greater than 0.03mm regardless of the wall thickness.
